A word from Emilie

Emilie Van Impe, founder of Archidee Studio

I came to interior design through people.

Years in events and marketing — tight deadlines, unusual briefs, trade-show stands and hospitality venues — taught me how much a space changes the way people feel, move and connect. My travels, from Northern Europe to the Mediterranean and the craft traditions of Asia, shaped an open, eclectic and deeply human approach, with a love for fine materials and authentic textures.

After completing a three-year interior design programme, I founded Archidee Studio to bring that experience into every project. I step into my clients' shoes first — then shape an atmosphere you can feel, a flow you don't notice, and a hospitality that makes people feel expected.

Our conviction

A space is never only visual. It is felt.

The strongest environments are designed with emotion in mind. Light, material, sound, circulation and texture all add up to one atmosphere — not only how a space looks in a single frame, but how it feels, moves and lingers in memory.

That is why our work is always layered: material direction, spatial rhythm, client story and visitor flow inform one another, whether the project lasts a few days or many years.

“Good design does not simply decorate a moment. It gives it meaning.”

How we compose

Context, materiality and story.

Beyond surface beauty, three layers shape every project — so it feels right, works well and ages gracefully.
01

Context

We begin with the brief, how people use the space and what emotional tone the project needs to create.

02

Materiality

We select and layer finishes that support the atmosphere and hold up over time.

03

Story

Clear narrative choices give each project its own identity — authentic, never generic.
